Lisa as seen on TV
Whether it is on radio and television or on a stage Lisa Dean has a way of engaging her audience. Lisa, who has worked on the local and national level of radio and television is no stranger to speaking. Her work has been seen and heard on the Morton Downey Jr. Show, PNN, KSBJ radio, and nationally syndicated show The Force, just to name a few. Having worked as a news reporter, mid day anchor, television and radio host, columnist and freelance writer Lisa knows the power of words and the impact they can have on an individuals life.
Now, she has taken her love of writing and speaking and merged them together in a different arena. Her messages are forthright while her delivery filled with humor. “We all need to laugh a little more,” she says, “ and sometimes we need to learn to laugh at ourselves.”
Lisa believes to whom much is given much is expected. She sits on the board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club, is creator of “Girls of Greatness” program, a self esteem building program for girls, member of Gift of Giving for Global Poverty and AIDS, Partner in Life Spring Women’s Shelter, while also volunteering at her church.
Lisa is a published author with her book “Girls of Greatness” in bookstores nationwide. She is Mrs. Illinois U.S. Globe 2005, 2nd runner up at Mrs. US Globe, Mrs. Illinois United States 2006, Mrs. Illinois America 2008
She is a Life Coach, speaker, author, and freelance journalist. Lisa says, however, her greatest accomplishment is her marriage to her husband Dean and their two children Kennedy Ann and Caden O’Brien.
